Benjamín Sánchez is Sociologist (Universidad Alberto Hurtado) and student of the Master in Social Research Methods (Universidad Diego Portales). He is Research Assistant at the Centre for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES), Research and Administrative Assistant at the Fondecyt #1130779 (Universidad Andrés Bello) and Young Researcher of the Millennium Nucleus Model of Crisis (Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez).
His research interests include financial sociology, sociology of time and the intersectional analysis of the social inequality. He is author of “The Reconfiguration of the Global Financial Regime” (2015), and co-author of forthcoming papers as “Inflationary and Deflationary Processes of Social Crises” (with B. Navarro), “The Relevance of the Recreative Rituals in the Chilean Labour Market” (with C. Mora), and “Time Tirany: the Chilean Case” (with M. Basaure, C. Vera y M. Méndez). Also forthcoming are a book chapter entitled ‘Interseccionalidad de Género y Etnia: Pobreza y Violencia en La Araucanía’ (with L. Ketterer y A. Obando).
