Marco Billi is MSc. In Economics and Management (Universitá Bocconi, Italy) and Ms. in Systemic Analysis applied to Society (Universidad de Chile, Chile). He is a PhD Student in Political Processes and Institutions (Universidad Adolfo Ibañez, Chile), PhD fellow in the Climate and Resilience Research Center (CR2) in Santiago, Chile, and Young Researcher in the Millennium Nucleus Models of Crises.
His current research interests include social systems theory, sustainable development and climate change policy, energy policy, science-policy interfaces, deliberative politics, resilience and social crisis theory. He has authored a master thesis on mass media communication on Chilean renewable energies, a research paper on the participative process of Chilean energy policy, and a book chapter on gender equality and street sexual harassment.
