Gonzalo Ruz holds a PhD in Machine Learning (Cardiff University, UK). He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences, University Adolfo Ibáñez, Santiago de Chile, Academic Manager of the PhD Program in Complex Systems at the same University, and Associate Researcher of the Millennium Nucleus Models of Crises. He teaches Probabilities and Business Intelligence at undergraduate level, and Data Management and Analysis at postgraduate level.
His current research interests include machine learning, Bayesian networks, neural networks, Boolean networks, gene regulatory networks, evolutionary computation, and neuro-fuzzy systems. He has published more than 30 scientific papers (journals and conference proceedings).
